'Minor incident' at Irish soccer team hotel in Dublin

Gardaí are investigating what they describe as a "minor incident" at the Irish soccer team hotel in Dublin tonight.

They were called to the Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links but so far no statement of complaint has been received.

In a statement tonight, the FAI has said that Assistant Manager Roy Keane called gardaí following an incident.

The team are due to fly out to Scotland tomorrow for their European Championship qualifying game.

The FAI could not be contacted for comment tonight.
