Billie Barry, who founded the famous stage school of the same name, has died.
Ms Barry came from a theatrical family and was a solo performer at the age of five.
Her father was a musician and her mother was an amateur operatic singer.
Ms Barry ran the Billie Barry Stage School from 1964 until her retirement in 1999.
Some of the well-known graduates include Brian and Susan McFadden, and Samantha Mumba.
Performers from the school were a regular feature on the Late Late Toy Show.
