Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Co Carlow.
A 27-year-old man died when his motorcycle collided with a construction vehicle at around 8.50pm yesterday.
The crash happened on the R724 at Ballymoon, near Muine Bheag.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The driver of the construction vehicle, a man in his 30s, was uninjured.
Garda forensic collision investigators were to carry out a technical examination at the scene.
