A new opinion poll suggests there is a small increase in support for the Labour Party and Fianna Fáil. 

The Millward Brown poll for The Sunday Independent finds Fine Gael support unchanged at 25%.

Labour are up two points to 9% compared to the last poll in July.

Fianna Fáil at 21% are up one point.

Sinn Féin on 22% are down two points.

The rounded-up figures show Independents and Others unchanged on 24%. 

The 970 people surveyed were also asked if they were in favour or against a referendum to repeal the 8th amendment of the constitution.

The poll indicated that 56% were in favour, 19% against and 25% said they did not know.
