Gas and electricity provider Airtricity is to create 143 jobs at a call centre in Belfast.
The company is to develop its Northern Ireland headquarters at new premises in the city.
The new positions will be in customer service, sales and administrative support roles.
Airtricity already employs 98 staff at two sites in Belfast.
Alastair Hamilton, Chief Executive of Invest Northern Ireland, welcomed the announcement, claiming the agency had beaten competition from the Republic of Ireland to attract the jobs to Belfast.
