Thousands line Giro d'Italia cross-border route

Tens of thousands of people lined the route of the Giro d'Italia as the cycle race took riders from Armagh to Dublin.

The 187km cross-border route started from Armagh at 11.45am.

It went through Dundalk, Castlebellingham and Drogheda and  continued along the coast through Skerries, Swords and Malahide before finishing in Merrion Square in Dublin city centre.
