Several hundred people have taken part in a loyalist Union flag protest march in Belfast city centre.

It was the first such protest this year.

The parade went from the city hall to the Shankill Road.

Protesters again breached part of the conditions for the march laid down by the Parades Commission, by failing to begin the demonstration at the appointed time.

A PSNI helicopter monitored the march.

There have been no reports of any incidents.
