Moynalty in Co Meath has been named the overall winner of the Tidy Towns contest.
It was also named Ireland's Tidiest Village.
Killarney was named Tidiest Large Town and Kenmare Tidiest Small Town.
In total, 832 towns and villages entered the competition.
Minister for the Environment Phil Hogan congratulated Moynalty's "fantastic achievement after 53 years in the competition".
