A woman from Co Kildare has become the millionth visitor to the Titanic Centre in Belfast.

Ciara Harmon from Athy visited the centre with her family and was invited to cut a cake alongside the city's lord mayor to mark the occasion.

The million visitor milestone has been passed just 16 months since the iconic building opened.

Over a third of all visitors to the centre come from the Republic of Ireland.
