Police have said a bus has swerved off the road and crashed in central Spain, killing nine people and injuring 21 others.
A spokesman for the paramilitary Civil Guard said the accident occurred close to the town of Tornadizos in Avila province.
A local bus left the highway as it was coming down from a mountain pass.
There are no details yet on the identities of those killed.
