Air passengers have been warned to expect delays as airports return to normal operations following a strike by air-traffic controllers in France.

A spokesperson for Ryanair said the airline was forced to cancel 600 flights across its European hubs over the last two days but flights were running as normal on Thursday.

Aer Lingus also said its flights were running to schedule.
