The 39th anniversary of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings will be marked at a ceremony in Dublin.

The atrocity was the greatest loss of life in a single day during the Troubles in which 34 people, including an unborn baby, died.

A wreath will be laid at Talbot Street at the memorial to those who died.

A mass for the families of those who died and the survivors will also take place in Upper Gardiner Street at 1pm.

Justice for the Forgotten, which is organising the event to remember all those who died during the Troubles, has asked the people of Dublin to show their solidarity with those who died by attending the ceremonies.
