Ireland's oldest person, Co Clare woman Annie Kett, has died aged 107.
Mrs Kett, was born Annie Hayes in 1905 in The Glen, Killaloe, Co Clare.
After training as a nurse in London, she moved to Kilkishen where she farmed with her late husband, John.
Mrs Kett celebrated her 107th birthday at Thorpe's Nursing Home in Clarina, Co Limerick, with family and friends in December.
She passed away at the home on Sunday and will be laid to rest in Garraunboy, Killaloe, on Thursday.
Mrs Kett is survived by her son, daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
