Flood alerts in Cork and Dublin at high tides this morning have been lifted but alerts remain in place.

Water flooded several streets in Cork city centre at high tide, but did not enter buildings, and the threat of flooding has now receded.

However, warnings will remain in place in Cork until Monday.

High waves covered sections of the promenade at Clontarf in Dublin.

Flooding and technical faults disrupted some train, DART and Luas services this morning.

Waterford train services have resumed after earlier flooding there.
