The PSNI has said a man in Co Down called 999 to report an emergency as his local Chinese restaurant was not taking his calls.
According to the police, when the man was told that 999 was strictly for emergencies “he stated it was an emergency as he wanted to order a meal.”
The inspector who made the posting on PSNI’s Facebook page said he had “arranged for the local neighbourhood officer to call with this man and give him some advice.”
