Gardaí say 4,200 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €3.5m have been seized across the country as part of an planned operation.
These were seized in counties Cork, Wexford, Meath and Dublin.
236 planned searches were carried out as part of Operation Wireless.
Gardaí made over 80 arrests relating to such offences as drug trafficking, robbery, aggravated burglary and possession of firearms.
A number of searches were conducted with regard to outstanding European arrest warrants and one Polish national was arrested.
