Two people have died following separate road incidents in Co Galway and Co Clare.
A man died following a single vehicle incident in Kildaree, Williamstown in Co Galway this morning.
Jeremy Dee, who was the manager of Castlebar Celtic women's soccer team, was the driver of a car that hit a wall in the area at around 9.15am.
Following the incident he was taken to Mayo General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead this afternoon.
Two females who were occupants of the car were not seriously injured in the incident.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact Tuam Garda Station on 093 70840.
Meanwhile, a woman in her 20s died after a car crashed on the northbound lane of the M18 at Ballylion in Barefield, near Ennis in Co Clare.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second woman in her 40s received minor injuries in the incident.
