Gardaí investigating two separate deaths in Co Waterford have ruled out foul play in both cases.

Luke Ryan, 24, from Clifton Court near St John's Park in the city was found dead at about 1am in a house in St Herblain Park.

Gardaí are not treating his death as suspicious following a post mortem examination by the State Pathologist and do not believe anybody else was involved.

The exact cause of death will not be known until toxicology results are available.

Gardaí have also ruled out foul play in connection with the separate death of a 24-year-old woman in Waterford city.

They believe the woman, who was found in a house at Grange Cohen, may have died of a drug overdose.

A post mortem examination on her body has taken place and the exact cause of death will not be known until detailed toxicology results are available in ten days' time.
