Over 4,000 jobs were on offer at a careers event in the Convention Centre in Dublin today.
Irish and international organisations were actively recruiting for professional and graduate job seekers.
Around 10,000 people attended the fourth annual “Career Zoo”, where they will have the opportunity to meet employers who are actively hiring professionals and graduates.
There was information on up-skilling and conversion courses.
The event, was free to the public, featuring 100 International and Irish companies recruiting across all areas including IT, engineering and finance.
Exhibitors at the jobs fair included Microsoft, Amazon, Twitter and Deloitte.
A major recruitment company has said that the Government needs to improve the teaching of IT at secondary level in order to meet demand from multi-national companies based here.
