Developers are hoping to go ahead with a scheme of 30 houses in Co Offaly.
Offaly County Council has granted an extension for an application to build a mix of three and four-bedroom detached, semi-detached and terraced houses at Birr Road, Cloghan in the west of the county.
Planning permission was first granted in June 2008.
