US multinational games company Electronic Arts has announced a further 300 jobs for Galway.
The new jobs are part of an expansion of the company's customer service centre in the IDA Business Park.
They will provide multilingual international support for EA’s online game titles, such as FIFA and Medal of Honour.
The company already employs 400 people at its Bioware division in Parkmore West and recruitment for the new jobs begins immediately.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny said this further investment by EA is a real endorsement of Ireland's ability to meet the needs of leading multinationals in the digital industry.
EA's Chief Operations Officer Peter Moore said the Galway centre would be the global customer base on a 24 hours a day, seven days a week basis.
