Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping has appeared in public for the first time in about two weeks.
There had been concerns about his whereabouts following rumours regarding his health or the state of the country's leadership succession.
Mr Xi, who is in line to be China's next leader, paid a three-day visit to Ireland earlier this year, saying he wanted to deepen mutual friendship and take bilateral relations forward.
Mr Xi led a 150-strong Chinese delegation of business leaders and government officials to Ireland in February.
