A homecare provider has announced that it is to create 335 new jobs across the country.
Bluebird Care said the jobs will come on stream over the next six months for care assistants and support staff.
The company announced 175 jobs in counties Wicklow, Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo last month.
The franchise company was set up in 2007 and is one of a number of Health Service Executive-approved homecare providers.
New franchises are due to open in Wexford, Westmeath, Longford and Roscommon this year.
Meanwhile, medical device company Cambus Teo, based in Spiddal, has announced 35 new positions.
The company currently employs over 50 people and today's announcement is due to an investment by Helix Medical.
