More than 40,000 race goers attended the Galway Race Festival in Ballybrit today.
The Guinness Galway Hurdle Handicap was the highlight of the day, with a prize fund of €360,000.
Kelli O'Dell from Australia was named Best Dressed Lady and Best Hat competition was won by Roscommon's Aisling Ahern.
The heavy rain of recent days has seen attendance figures and takings down on last year.
