Aer Lingus unions have voted to engage in industrial action over the reform of pension arrangements.

Members of the six unions representing workers in Aer Lingus and the Dublin Airport Authority have voted in a dispute over plans by the companies to reform pension arrangements.

The six unions involved are IPTU, Impact, Mandate, TEEU, Unite, UCATT.

The ballot mandates them to engage in industrial action in the event that either or both companies allow changes to be made to the pensions, without the agreement of the staff concerned.
