Two suspected explosive devices were discovered in Sligo last night.
The first was found in a wooded area near the Holy Well on the outskirts of Sligo town by gardaí, who alerted the Army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit.
The Army subsequently discovered a second device in the area.
The devices were taken to Garda Headquarters in Dublin for analysis.
