Minister for Children Frances Fitzgerald has launched a blueprint for the new Child and Family Agency next year.
The agency will bring child and family welfare under the auspices of a single dedicated body.
Currently child and family welfare support is covered under multiple agencies.
A report by the task force on the Child and Family Agency submitted today contains recommendations to be considered in the design of the agency.
