A Dáil committee on Members' Interests has said unless Mick Wallace provides more information about his tax affairs it cannot decide whether it has jurisdiction to hold an enquiry.
In a statement this afternoon, the committee said that despite several contacts with the Wexford TD and his solicitors, they could not determine whether actions relating to his tax affairs were taken while he was a member of the Dáil.
Until he provides the information sought along with supporting evidence from the tax authorities they cannot determine jurisdiction.
