A man has been taken to hospital following a fire at an apartment complex in Dundalk in Co Louth.
60 apartments were evacuated after a fire caused extensive damage to the complex.
The blaze started in the kitchen of a second-floor unit at the Long Walk Apartments just before 11pm last night and spread to adjoining homes.
An adjoining apartment complex was also damaged.
One man was rescued by fire crews. He has been taken to hospital where his condition is described as non-life threatening.
Three fire brigades attended the scene.
