The Defence Forces have been deployed to Glengesh in Co Donegal to fight forest fires.
The forces have so far dropped a total of 45,000 litres of water on fires.
An Air Corps AW 139 helicopter, fitted with a specialist under slung Bambi Bucket, is being used to disperse the fires.
