The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed it is providing consular assistance to the family of a Wexford woman who has died in Japan.
It is understood the body of the 21-year-old woman was discovered last night in Tokyo following a concert she had attended.
It is believed the woman had been studying for a number of months in Japan and was due to return home to Ireland in the next few weeks.
