An 18-year-old woman has been shot dead and her sister seriously injured in a shooting incident in Bellaghy, Co Derry.
Police said the incident happened at a house at William Court in Bellaghy, near Magherafelt, at around 10.30am.
The deceased's sister, aged in her early 20s, lives at the rented house.
A 26-year-old man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of murder.
A man and a woman, both 28, were later arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All three were detained in the Toome area of Co Antrim.
