The Department of Agriculture is reminding farmers that tomorrow is the deadline for receipt of applications for their annual payments from the EU.
Fines are imposed on late applications and last year 1,700 farmers were penalised resulting in a loss of €1.6m.
About 50% of farmers apply online for their payments, and their deadline is midnight tomorrow.
The EU pays out €1.7bn among 133,000 farmers here each year.
