The Dáil Technical Group has called for support for its Private Members’ Motion on the Domiciliary Care Allowance.
Chairperson Finian McGrath said the DCA system is not working in the interest of families of disabled children and adults. He said the group has serious concerns about the way these families are being treated by the State.
The group has called on ministers and backbenchers who have spoken about disability to vote in favour of the motion, which will be debated this evening.
