A woman has died in a road crash near Watergrasshill in Co Cork.
She was a passenger in a car that was struck from behind by a truck on the M8 heading towards Cork.
The crash occurred north of the toll plaza near Watergrasshill at around 6.15am.
The woman was taken to Cork Univeristy Hospital along with the driver and two other passengers in the car.
The driver of the lorry did not require hospital treatment.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
