Two workers who were suspended from Waterford County Council earlier this week have been re-instated following intervention from the Labour Relations Commission.
140 members of the UNITE trade union protested outside the offices in Dungarvan for two days over the suspension.
The two council workers returned to their jobs yesterday afternoon following a dispute over the handling of employment issues in relation to water services.
A spokesperson for the council says all issues have now been resolved and outdoor services have returned to normal.
