The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing assistance to the family of an Irishman who was killed in a road crash in Australia.
The man, who was in his early 20s, was from Caherglassaun, Ardrahan, near Gort in Co Galway.
It is understood he had only been in the country for five weeks.
