The search for a fisherman who fell from a trawler off the Co Louth coast will resume tomorrow morning.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was reported missing from the Zenith fishing boat about nine miles from Clogherhead in Co Louth.
The boat is registered in the fishing village of Kilkeel in Co Down.
The Irish Coast Guard raised the alarm at 1.05pm and the Marine Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) in Dublin called in the local RNLI crew, a rescue helicopter 116 and a second lifeboat relief crew.
The skipper of the boat made the emergency call after the deck hand fell into the sea.
The Clogherhead RNLI crew, which is coordinating the search locally, said other fishing vessels that were in the region helped with the search.
