The Government is to publish details of, what a spokesman said would be a radical set of proposals, to deal with insolvency.
Minister for Justice Alan Shatter and Minister for Finance Michael Noonan are to unveil the 205-page document setting out the heads of the Bill tomorrow
The spokesman said it would be radical and far reaching but would not mark the end of the process to deal with those struggling with debt.
It has been reported that the measures would involve debt relief for sums of up to €20,000, broader debt settlement arrangements, and a bankruptcy scheme that will involve a shortened period before debts are discharged.
