New Ross fire under control

A major fire in New Ross in Co Wexford has been brought under control.

A number of apartments at an apartment block on the quay had caught fire and were in flames.

Six units of the fire service are still at the scene.

Roads around the area remain closed off to traffic.

No injuries have been reported.

A full examination of the scene will take place tomorrow morning.
