The Minister for Justice Alan Shatter has said that there are no differences in opinion between Government members regarding a second bailout for Ireland.
The Minister was reacting to an article in today's Sunday Independent in which the Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton refused to rule out a second bailout.
Earlier this week the Taoiseach Enda Kenny, along with the Minister for Finance Michael Noonan, dismissed any possibility of a second bailout.
Speaking on RTÉ Radio 1's This Week this afternoon Minister Shatter said that the Government is on track and is meeting its international obligations and fiscal targets.
Minister Shatter said that discussions were ongoing between the Government and the Troika at a technical level, to see the extent to which they can "delimit the impact of fiscal difficulties on the state."
