Two women in their early 20s were rescued from the River Liffey in Dublin's city centre earlier today.
The alarm was raised near Grattan Bridge shortly before 3am.
One woman was pulled from the water by a garda and the second was rescued by Dublin Fire Brigade less than 100m away from the boardwalk alongside the river.
Both are said to be in a stable condition in hospital.
