Emergency services dealt with three house fires in Dublin and Co Louth overnight.

In Dublin, a fire broke out at a house in Knockmore in Tallaght at about 3.30am.

A woman and her three children, all aged under six and who were in the house at the time, were taken to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.

In Harold’s Cross, a fire broke out in the basement of a house on Kenilworth Square East just after 4am. A man was taken to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.

In Co Louth, a fire broke out in a bedroom of a house at Moneymore in Drogheda. A woman was taken to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.
