Gardaí around the country are warning drivers to take care on the roads due to icy conditions.
There are several reports of minor collisions in counties including Limerick, Clare, Laois, Roscommon, Sligo, Leitrim, Tipperary and Cavan.
There are also bad road conditions reported around Tullamore, Co Offaly.
