Thirty-seven jobs at a company that provides software for mobile phones have been secured after the Revenue Commissions withdrew an application to have the firm wound-up.

At this morning's sitting of the High Court, Mr Justice Daniel O'Keeffe was informed by Dermot Cahill BL for Revenue that the petition could be struck out.

In its petition, Revenue had sought to wind-up Anam on the basis that it was insolvent and unable to pay its debts.

No details of the agreement between Revenue and Anam were revealed in open court.
