Details of a review aimed at cleaning up the taxi industry have been announced.
The review is designed to rid the industry of some of the unsavoury practices that have developed following deregulation.
The illegal cloning of taxi licence plates is just one issue that is set to be reviewed.
Minister of State for Public Transport and Commuter Policy Alan Kelly published the terms of reference of the review.
Also in attendance was former Garda Commissioner Pat Byrne, who is vice-chair of the taxi sector review group.
