An IT firm is to create 125 jobs in Dublin over the next three years. US-based company Marketo specialises in revenue-performance management.
President and CEO of Marketo Phil Fernandez said Ireland was chosen because the company needed a 'European hub with a large talent pool of skilled people'.
Recruiting is already under way for sales, marketing, support, consulting, development and back office positions.
Marketo is one of the fastest cloud computing companies to be based in Silicon Valley in the US and had sales growth last year of 300%.
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton described the jobs as a great confidence boost for cloud computing in Ireland - an industry which one report predicted could be worth €9.5bn by 2014.
