The Irish Embassy in Madrid is providing consular assistance to the family of an Irishman who has been missing in Benidorm since Friday.
Liam Cooney, aged 64, went missing as he was walking with family on Friday night.
He has been suffering from dementia for the last two years.
A search for him has been taking place over the weekend and a number of family members are due to travel to Benidorm to take part in the search over the coming days.
