Gerry Adams, Fergus O'Dowd, Gerald Nash and Peter Fitzpatrick joined the automatically returned Seamus Kirk as TDs for the five seat Louth constituency.
Gerry Adams topped the poll and was elected on the first count, with 15,072 first preference votes.
Fine Gael's Fergus O'Dowd was not far behind with 13,980. The quota was 13,864.
Labour's Gerald Nash took the fourth seat after the 12th count.
Louth football manager Peter Fitzpatrick took the final seat for Fine Gael on the 13th count ahead of Fianna Fáil's James Carroll.
Fianna Fáil's Seamus Kirk was automatically returned as Ceann Comhairle.
Turnout was 70.5%
