Dominic Hannigan took one of the three seats in Meath East, joining Shane McEntee and Regina Doherty in the 31st Dáil.
Hannigan topped the poll for Labour on the last count with 12,382 votes.
McEntee retained his seat for Fine Gael and he also brought home his running mate, Regina Doherty.
Turnout was 66.4%
